Tenways is kicking off the new 2025 season with a bang and is already unveiling its next innovation with the new AGO Air! Following the upgrades of the lightweight CGO series for the CGO 600 Plus and CGO 800 Plus as well as the Longtail Duo cargo bike, the brand is now expanding its portfolio with an elegant yet powerful model with a new mid-motor.
Sleek design and a powerful motor
The new AGO Air joins the already familiar AGO series — and, like this series, is also equipped with a powerful mid-motor. Nevertheless, the frame of the bike remains surprisingly slim, reduced and elegant. Compared to the other models in the series, it has a particularly light appearance.

And another surprise: for the first time, Tenways is using its own mid-drive motor, which delivers a high torque of 80 Nm. This means plenty of power even for climbs or heavier loads (the permissible total weight is 145 kg). Paired with a precise torque sensor, the bike promises a particularly natural and responsive riding experience. There is also a removable 560 Wh battery, which is not obtrusive thanks to its clever integration — the slim frame design is retained. For the mechanical drive, Tenways relies on a 9-speed derailleur gear system from Shimano’s Cues series, which should offer sufficient flexibility in all riding situations.
Security and smart functions are also ensured: the TFT colour display installed in the middle of the handlebars is compatible with the Tenways app, supports real-time navigation and clearly displays all riding data. The electric drive can even be locked via Bluetooth or password — a bonus in theft protection.
Comfortable and ready for everyday use
Thanks to its extensive equipment, the AGO Air is a real all-rounder: the standard equipment includes mudguards, a StVZO-compliant lighting system with 60 lux headlights and a rear light that is integrated directly into the rear pannier rack — which can also be loaded with up to 25 kg. The adjustable stem and suspension fork at the front should ensure comfort, while the tyres should also increase riding comfort thanks to their 50 mm width. Hydraulic disc brakes from Shimano should ensure reliable braking performance in all weather conditions.
With its weight of around 25 kg, the model is between the lightweight CGO series with hub motor and the heavier, continuously variable AGO T (which we have already tested here). The frame is available in one size with a low step-through – suitable for riders between 160 and 195 cm tall.

Colours, pricing and availability
The Ago Air is available in three colours: Midnight Black, dark Arctic Grey and Velvet Red — an elegant dark red metallic. With a price of 2,199 euros, it offers the most affordable entry into the Tenways AGO series to date. It is even more attractive at the start of sales: there is currently an introductory discount of 100 euros, so the new model is already available for 2,099 euros directly here on the Tenways website.
