What happens when you make the already compact Yoonit Mini cargo bike even smaller? Exactly—the result is the Yoonit Micro. But is it now a real mini cargo bike or simply a super-compact urban bike with cargo options? The answer: both.
With an overall length of just 139 cm and small but robust 18-inch wheels, the Micro is almost reminiscent of a BMX—not least because of the raised handlebars, which are visually and functionally reminiscent of classic trick bikes. But the Micro doesn’t just want to look cool, it also wants to be practical: The front carrier, compatible with the AVS system, allows a wide variety of baskets and boxes to be easily mounted. If you want even more transport options, you can also retrofit a rear pannier rack—also AVS-compatible.

Despite its ultra-compact design, the Micro offers a payload of 40 kg, with a maximum total load including rider of 140 kg. This makes the bike suitable not only for the commute to the office or café, but also for smaller everyday transport—from the weekly shop to picnic equipment.
Particularly clever: the handlebars can be folded to the side for narrow corridors, small flats or overcrowded bike cellars, and the pedals can also be folded in. This reduces the width to just 24 cm—and the Micro fits almost anywhere.

Those who prefer to ride without a motor can opt for the analogue version: the Yoonit Micro Classic comes with a Shimano Alfine 8-speed gear hub. However, those who appreciate a little support in everyday urban life will find what they are looking for in the Yoonit Micro Electric—equipped with the Shimano Steps mid-drive motor and the specially developed 5-speed Nexus 5e hub gears.
